1. Who may order
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract. If you provide information about another traveler, you confirm that you are authorised to do so and have made our Privacy Policy available to them.
Our services are designed for independent leisure travelers. We may decline work outside our knowledge, capacity or responsible scope, including large groups, high-risk or remote expeditions, medical travel, specialist accessibility planning, self-driving, or special-permit travel.
We do not currently accept paid orders from customers located in the European Union or United Kingdom. You must give accurate location information when ordering. We may decline and refund an ineligible order.
2. What we provide
We provide research, written recommendations and personalised itinerary-planning advice. Depending on your order, this may include route structure, pacing, transport logic, accommodation areas or options, selected experiences, practical preparation and relevant alternatives.
We provide advice only. We do not organise, operate, host, guide or supervise travel; make or manage reservations; issue tickets; take payment for travel suppliers; sell package travel; or provide a tour leader, concierge, insurer or emergency service. You make every booking and payment directly with the relevant third party.
Read the detailed Service Scope & Disclaimer.

“Business day” means Monday to Friday in Beijing, excluding mainland China public holidays. Delivery targets depend on timely receipt of complete information and exclude customer review time. Prices beginning “from” may increase with trip length, city count, research complexity, departure proximity or special requirements. Your written quotation and order confirmation control.
4. Contract formation and start of work
Submitting an enquiry does not create a contract. We first provide a written quotation stating the service, total price, scope, delivery window, revision entitlement and any special exclusions.
A binding contract is formed only after you accept the quotation and these Terms in writing, pay the full quoted planning fee through the approved PayPal method, and receive our written order confirmation. Work and the delivery period begin at the timestamp of that confirmation unless it says otherwise. You receive an electronic PayPal payment confirmation and a China, Clearly order confirmation you can save.
5. Payment and third-party costs
The planning fee is payable in full in advance and is in US dollars unless stated otherwise. We issue an itemised PayPal invoice for the exact service and fee agreed with you; we do not ask you to choose or enter an unconfirmed amount. Your bank or payment provider may impose currency-conversion or other charges we do not control.
The planning fee excludes accommodation, transport, attraction tickets, activities, meals, insurance, visas, supplier booking fees and all other trip expenses. You contract and pay directly with each supplier. PayPal handles payment and refund information under its own terms. We do not receive or store your full card number, card security code or online-banking credentials.
6. Your information and cooperation
You must provide complete and accurate dates, traveler information, existing bookings, budget, interests, pace and material constraints, and correct errors or report material changes promptly.
Do not send passport scans, identity documents, full payment-card details, precise live location or detailed medical records. If limited sensitive information is genuinely required, we will explain why and request separate express consent where required. A late or incomplete response pauses the delivery schedule.
7. Revisions and changes of scope
A revision round means one consolidated written set of feedback, submitted within 3 calendar days after receiving the relevant draft. Included revisions cover reasonable adjustments within the agreed destination cities, travel period, traveler group and service scope.
A materially different route, trip length, traveler group, date range or concept requires a new quotation. After 30 consecutive calendar days without information needed to continue, we may give written notice and close the project administratively. Unused revisions then expire, but this does not remove a mandatory refund or service remedy.
8. Cancellation, refunds and service problems
Our Refund & Cancellation Policy forms part of these Terms. If you cancel after paying but before we send the order confirmation, no contract has formed and work has not begun. We return the amount received, less any original PayPal transaction fee PayPal does not return to us, only where that deduction is permitted by law.
From the order-confirmation timestamp, work has begun. If you cancel before completion, we may retain a reasonable amount for work supplied and will explain the calculation in writing. After complete performance, a change of mind does not create a discretionary refund. Mandatory remedies for late, incomplete, non-conforming or carelessly performed service remain available. If we decline the order or cancel for reasons attributable to us before confirmation, we provide a full refund without deducting our payment-processing cost.
9. Your bookings and travel decisions
You are responsible for deciding whether to travel and for all bookings, payments and travel documents. Before paying a supplier and again shortly before travel, verify prices, availability, opening times, ticket rules, entry and visa requirements, health and safety advice, weather, accessibility and cancellation terms with the relevant authority or supplier.
Recommendations reflect information and preferences available at the research date. They do not guarantee availability, price, quality, safety, suitability, admission, visa approval or enjoyment.
10. Third parties and links
Hotels, carriers, attractions, restaurants, platforms and other suppliers are independent third parties. We are not a party to your contract with them and do not control their acts, insolvency, schedules, cancellations, service quality, safety practices or data handling.
We do not currently accept commissions from recommended accommodation, transport or activity providers. If this changes, we will clearly disclose any material relationship with the affected recommendation.
11. Intellectual property
We retain rights in our research methods, templates, structure, explanatory text and original itinerary content. Once the fee is paid, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use and privately share the itinerary with travelers and suppliers involved in your trip.
You may not resell, publicly publish, commercially reproduce, license, use it to provide competing services, or remove ownership notices without written permission. You retain rights in your materials and permit us to use them only to assess, perform and administer your order.
12. Human review and tools
Each paid deliverable is tailored to the agreed brief and receives human review. Digital and AI-assisted tools may support research, administration or drafting, but final routing, timing and logistics judgments are reviewed by a human planner.
13. Liability
We are responsible for direct loss that is reasonably foreseeable and caused by our breach of contract or failure to use the care required by applicable law.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of enjoyment, loss of opportunity or profit, or costs caused by customer decisions, inaccurate customer information, third-party conduct, or changes after the stated verification date. Subject to mandatory law, our total aggregate liability arising from a single order will not exceed the planning fee actually paid for that order.
Nothing limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury that cannot lawfully be excluded, non-excludable privacy remedies, and mandatory consumer guarantees.
14. Events outside reasonable control
Neither party is responsible for delay caused by events reasonably outside its control, including natural disasters, epidemics, government restrictions, widespread transport disruption, network failure or sudden unavailability of essential official information. The affected party must give prompt notice and take reasonable steps to reduce the effect. If performance becomes materially impracticable, either party may cancel and we will refund the amount attributable to work not supplied.
15. Complaints, law and disputes
Send complaints to chinaclearly@gmail.com, stating the order reference, concern and requested remedy. We acknowledge receipt within 2 business days and aim to provide a substantive written response within 10 business days unless applicable law requires another period.
The parties first try in good faith to resolve the matter in writing for 30 days. These Terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China, without removing mandatory consumer protections or forum rights that apply to you. Subject to those protections, disputes may be brought before a court with jurisdiction in Beijing, China.
16. Changes and general terms
The version accepted with your order governs that order. We may update these Terms for future orders. If one part is invalid or unenforceable, the remainder continues. A delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver. Your quotation, order confirmation and incorporated policies form the entire agreement for the planning service.
