1. Advisory service
China, Clearly provides personalised research, written recommendations and itinerary-planning advice for independent travelers considering a trip to China. The objective is to help you make clearer choices about route, timing, pace, accommodation areas and practical preparation.
The service is advisory. You remain in control of every booking, payment and travel decision. Nothing in this document excludes responsibility or a consumer remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.
2. What may be included
Only your accepted quotation and order confirmation define the purchased scope. Depending on the service, it may include:
- Comparison and selection of cities or regions.
- Destination sequence, transfer logic and day-by-day pacing.
- Accommodation-area guidance and selected lodging options.
- Selected food, cultural, natural and contemporary-city ideas.
- Useful place names in English and Chinese.
- Booking-tool, payment, map and reservation preparation notes.
- Alternatives for weather, energy or competing priorities.
- The written revisions stated in the order confirmation.
Work is normally delivered asynchronously in writing. Calls, real-time messaging or support during the trip are included only if the order confirmation expressly says so.
3. What is not included
China, Clearly does not:
- Organise, receive, host, lead, guide or supervise travelers.
- Make, hold, change or cancel reservations.
- Buy or issue transport tickets, attraction tickets or vouchers.
- Collect, transfer or pass through money for a travel supplier.
- Combine travel services and sell them for an inclusive trip price.
- Sell package travel, linked travel arrangements, tours or travel inventory.
- Provide a guide, driver, escort, concierge, insurer or emergency-response service.
- Guarantee admission, availability, transport operation or a visa outcome.
- Provide legal, immigration, tax, medical, clinical or insurance advice.
- Provide specialist planning for medical travel, complex disability support, remote expeditions, high-risk activity, high altitude, self-driving or special-permit travel unless separately confirmed through an appropriately qualified provider.
4. Revisions and scope changes
One revision round means one consolidated written set of feedback submitted within 3 calendar days after the relevant draft. Revisions stay within the cities, travel period, traveler group and service scope accepted in the order confirmation. A materially different route, trip length, traveler group, date range or concept may require a new quotation.
5. Your bookings and third-party contracts
You book directly with each hotel, carrier, attraction, restaurant, activity provider or platform and are responsible for reviewing its identity, live price, availability, conditions, cancellation terms, accessibility, international-guest requirements and payment security.
Your contract is with that third party. We do not control its acts, omissions, insolvency, delay, cancellation, overbooking, safety practices, service quality or data handling, except to the extent applicable law makes us responsible for our own lack of reasonable care in preparing a recommendation.
6. Recommendations and changing information
Recommendations are selected to support your route and preferences. They do not guarantee availability, price, ownership, facilities, standards, accessibility, allergy accommodation, safety or subjective experience. Check the current listing and provider terms before booking.
Schedules, ticket rules, opening hours, reservation systems, prices, payment tools, entry rules, local restrictions and supplier policies may change without notice. A “last checked” date is not a promise that information will remain current. Verify critical details with the relevant authority or supplier before booking and shortly before travel.
7. Visas and travel documents
General reminders are not immigration or legal advice. Eligibility depends on nationality, residence, passport, route, transit, travel purpose and changing government rules. You are responsible for passports, visas, permits, registrations, customs and entry, transit and exit requirements. We do not guarantee any application or admission decision.
8. Health, accessibility and safety
We may use your stated pace, mobility, allergy or dietary requirements to shape a plan, but we do not assess medical fitness, diagnose risk, prescribe treatment or certify accessibility. You are responsible for deciding whether an activity is suitable, obtaining professional advice and vaccinations where appropriate, carrying medication, checking accessibility directly, and following official health and safety advice.
9. Emergencies, insurance and disruption
We are not an emergency service and do not provide 24-hour monitoring or real-time assistance. In an emergency, contact local emergency services, your embassy or consulate, insurer, carrier, accommodation or other appropriate provider. You should consider suitable travel insurance.
An itinerary cannot predict or prevent weather, natural disaster, public-health events, government restrictions, strikes, closures or transport disruption. Alternatives depend on notice, current information, capacity and remaining revision scope.
10. Accuracy, judgment and human review
We use the care and skill required by applicable law and rely on customer information and sources reasonably available during the project. Planning involves judgment and trade-offs; another planner or traveler may reasonably prefer a different route. We do not promise a perfect, risk-free or particular emotional experience.
Each paid deliverable is individually prepared against the agreed brief and reviewed by a human planner. Digital and AI-assisted tools may support research, administration or drafting but do not replace final human judgment about routing, timing and logistics.
11. Independence and responsibility
At launch, we do not accept commissions from hotels, transport providers, attractions or activity providers. If we later use an affiliate link, referral fee, complimentary service or other material benefit, we will disclose it clearly with the affected recommendation.
The liability provisions in the Terms & Conditions apply. If a service is not supplied as described or with legally required care and skill, contact chinaclearly@gmail.com. Correction, re-performance, price reduction or refund may be available under the Refund & Cancellation Policy and mandatory law.
